It appears San Antonio Spurs guard Cory Joseph got some extra court time in recently after impressing at the 2012 Summer League earlier this summer.
Joseph along with a few of his Canadian national team teammates, including Tristan Thompson and Joel Anthony, participated in a Canada basketball camp after Steve Nash announced former Raptors coach Jay Triano would return to the sidelines for Canada.
When training camp starts up, Joseph will have his work cut out for him in attempting to lock down a roster spot in San Antonio, not Austin. The Spurs added yet another guard to the roster in Nando De Colo and brought back Patty Mills, so many expect Joseph will return to the Toros.
But after his growth last season and showing some poise and confidence in running the team during Summer League, he could be a dark horse and he'll definitely be one to watch.
