As the countdown continues until the start of Gamecocks Football, we now stand at 91 days until the USC Gamecocks face the Southern Miss Golden Eagles and the echo of 2001 can be heard at Williams-Brice.
With the number 91, we highlight current Gamecocks football player Ladi Ajiboye. The senior wears the number 91 as he anchors the defensive line at DT. A load is expected from him this coming year to stuff the middle and get after the opposing qb. Just look at him try to rip the head off the UK qb…..I think a All-SEC kind of year is in store for him.
The Gamecocks will open the season on Thursday, September 2 when they host the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. That game will be televised nationally on ESPN beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
