Cowbell Kingdom Podcast Ep 56: Arena updates with Ryan Lillis of the Sacramento Bee and Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times

What is the latest on the arena fronts in Virginia Beach and Seattle?  Ryan Lillis of the Sacramento Bee spent a few days on the east coast and joins us to report on Virginia Beach’s effort to build a new entertainment and sports complex.  Meanwhile in Seattle, Chris Hansen has acquired all the land needed for the Emerald City’s arena push.  Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times discusses Seattle’s progress in the second-half of the program.

Excerpt

Lillis on how far Virginia Beach is in their arena proposal:

Virginia Beach right now is so early in their process.  It would be three or four years before they have an arena.  The largest arena in that region right now is less than 12,000 people, so there’s not even a temporary (building) for the team to play in while the arena is built in Virginia Beach.
