Patterson on his former team, the Houston Rockets and their track record of success when it comes to developing young talent.
At my time there, they were all about player development. So whether it was utilizing the Rio Grande Vipers in the D-League and sending players down there an extra amount of time and running plays through them, having them be the focal point for however long they’re down there. Also summer time or before practice throughout the season a lot of player development stuff whether it’s being up there early with the coaching staff or working every single day, weight room, treatment. They’re all about each and every player.
