The Cowboys are paper thin at cornerback and have made a trade with the Patriots to help bolster the competition at CB. The Cowboys traded DT, Ben Bass for CB, Justin Green. These injuries are keeping Will McClay busy when it comes to looking for talent for the Cowboys.
Bass has shown potential but nagging injuries made him expendable; not to mention, the Cowboys have liked what they have seen with the other defensive tackles like Ken Bishop and Davon Coleman.
Green will provide the Cowboys with some extra depth throughout the preseason. Ultimately, this could be more of a camp body for camp body. Hopefully Green can come in here and make some noise, we’ll soon find out.
