Jerome Henderson’s replacement and upgrade will be interviewing with the Cowboys today in Mobile, AL., site of the Senior Bowl. Who are the Cowboys interviewing? They are meeting with Al Golden, former Miami Hurricanes Head Coach.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport chimes in with what he’s hearing as well:
This is interesting… Hearing Al Golden, former #Miami coach, is in line for a job as a #Cowboys assistant

Golden did not have a good tenure while at Miami, but many see him as an excellent defensive coach. He’s been a LB coach in his previous stints at Boston College and Penn State. Before his HC stint in Miami he was the defensive coordinator at Temple.
This could potentially be a very great hire for the Cowboys secondary, especially if we’re going to see some revamping at the corner position. Will the Cowboys keep Brandon Carr, and will Mo Claiborne re-sign wiht the Cowboys? Either way, we’ll probably have some new corners and some new blood could be just what this squad needs back there.
