After a 25 point outburst on Monday night, F Jae Crowder is looking red hot and looking to the next game on Wednesday and eventually the next few.
Here is the upcoming schedule and score predictions:
Wednesday vs Pistons- Last time we faced the Pistons, we won 99-93 with Andre Drummond for Detroit filling the stat sheet with 22 points and a ridiculous 22 rebounds. We scraped by the Pistons but this time around we can do better. With Marcus Smart healing each and every week, the C’s are feeling more comfortable inserting Smart into the game. Isaiah Thomas has been shooting phenomenally and Crowder is coming off a 25 point outburst. The Pistons (19-16) are essentially the same record as Boston (19-15) but ultimately, this game will come down to defense as the C’s win this ballgame 110-98 against Drummond and the Pistons at the Garden.
Thursday @ Bulls- This won’t be sunshine and rainbows as Rocky once said. A quick away game following a home game the following night, the C’s must prepare quickly for paying a visit to the land of Jimmy Butler and the Bulls. Last time these two teams squared off, the C’s edged the Bulls in Boston 105-100. Butler dropped 36 points and Boston big man Jared Sullinger grabbed an impressive 16 rebounds. This time around, you have to contain Butler and his outside game. Also you have to worry about Pau Gasol in the inside. At 35, he is the ageless wonder that continues to be a dominant threat inside the paint. C’s slightly edge Bulls 93-88.
Sunday @ Grizzlies- This is the first game against the always aggressive Memphis Grizzlies. Old friends Jeff Green and Courtney Lee were once solid additions to the C’s but with the roster moves the C’s have made, it’s clear this team has potential. The keys to stop the Grizzlies are to take away chances from Marc Gasol and Mike Conley. The ball movement is key while Zach Randolph could be hanging around the rim but the C’s have a better bench and they will win this game 100-96.
