There were so many career & record setting ReignOn moments by the Toronto Raptors in January that it was only right that we re-visit them in true Crown Royal style, and honour the Raptors who seized opportunities for greatness!

As a team, the Toronto Raptors win-loss record for January 2014 was 11-6. Let's take a look at some individual players and performances that stood out from the rest.

DeMar DeRozan:

It was quite the month for the Raptors star, DeMar DeRozan! Career numbers and rewarding accolades made this January a time DeMar will never forget.

In a 93-85 home win over the visiting Dallas Mavericks, DeMar put on a show! He scored 40 points on 15-22 shooting, and 9-14 from the free throw line. He also added 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in almost 38 minutes.

On January 30th, DeMar was named as one of the 7 reserves for the 2014 NBA Eastern Conference All-Star Team. Making him an NBA All-Star for the first time in his career. He will also participate in the 2014 Taco Bell Skills Challenge on Saturday night.

Kyle Lowry:

The NBA named Kyle Lowry as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the last week of January: Monday, January 27 through Sunday, February 2.

"Through 47 games this season, Lowry is averaging career highs in points (16.8), assists (7.6), steals (1.62) and minutes (36.3) and is shooting a career-best .401 (120-for-299) from three-point range. He is one of two players (Stephen Curry) in the NBA with 100 three pointers and 300 assists this season."

We also honoured Kyle with the inaugural 'Crown Royal & Hoop Heads North ReignOn Raptor of the Week' earlier in January, because of how impactful his play had been.

Despite not being named an NBA Eastern Conference All-Star by the coaches who selected the reserves, Kyle let his play on the court do the talking. Shots like this one were just a microcsom of the stellar month he had:

Terrence Ross:

On January 25th, at the Air Canada Centre vs. the Los Angeles Clippers, Terrence Ross had the night of his life! He tied the Toronto Raptors' franchise single game scoring record, first set by Vince Carter.

Ross finished the game with 51 points (16-29 from the field, including 10-17 from 3-point range, 9-10 from the free throw line) and 9 rebounds. The Raptors lost the game 126-118, but this was undoubtedly a CROWNing moment for the rising 2nd year player! He'll be back at NBA All-Star Weekend participating in the Sprite NBA Slam Dunk Contest, as he looks to defend and retain his 2012 crown as the Slam Dunk Champion!
