C’s Blow Lead, Lose To Dallas

The Celtics were off to another fantastic start in the 1st quarter and 2nd quarter. When the 2nd half came around, Dallas responded with a 4th quarter comeback that eventually gave them the 106-102 win.

Dallas PF Zaza Pachulia had a solid double double (14 points 12 rebounds) that helped guide the Mavs. Pachulia had recently been on the Milwaukee Bucks the past two years and had another stint with the team in the mid 2000’s but was traded this off season to the Mavericks. Fellow PF Dirk Nowitzki dropped 23 points on the C’s to go along with 7 rebounds. Wesley Matthews was a sleeper due to his lack of production this far in the season but turned the head of critics and fantasy basketball owners with a 18 point performance. PG Deron Williams scored 16 while dishing out 6 assists.

Boston had this game in the bag. PG Isaiah Thomas yet once again led the team in points (19) and Sullinger had another double double ( 18 points 12 boards) to help the C’s but it fell short. Turnovers were a big problem in this game as the Mavs and Celtics combined for a whopping 31 turnovers.

Coach Stevens must be proud in his team for the effort they showed but you got to close out games.
