Celtics interested in Shannon Brown

Sherrod Blakely says we can add Shannon Brown to the list of players the Celtics are interested in.

I've never been a big fan of Brown's game and that has nothing to do with his ties to the purple and gold.

The 26-year old Brown averaged 8.7 points and 19 minutes per game last season. He's just a 42 percent shooter from the field, but a decent defender and explosive dunker.

I'm guessing he'll be too costly for the Celtics. The Lakers are reportedly trying to re-sign him.
