C’s-Jazz was barely ever a game

The Celtics came out strong and, after the Jazz briefly cut a big lead to single-digits in the , ran away with this one to come away with a 110-86 win.

Utah had it down to 32-27 in the second quarter, but the C's whipped off a 10-0 run and never looked back.  Paul Pierce and KG were insanely efficient tonight, taking a combined 18 shots and scoring a combined 41 points (21 for KG, 20 for Pierce).

The heralded point guard matchup between Deron Williams and Rajon Rondo never materialized mostly because Williams picked up 2 early fouls and never got into a groove.  He finished with 5 points, 6 assists, 5 turnovers and 4 fouls in 23 minutes.  Rajon played 31 minutes had 4 points, 12 assists, 3 steals but 5 turnovers.

The C's bench showed up tonight too… with Big Baby checking in with 15 and 7 and Semih Erden dunking his way all over a garbage time 4th quarter to finish with 14 and 7.

Utah just flat out looked like crap.  Al Jefferson was 1-11 on the night but he had plenty of decent looks.  They turned it over 21 times and shot 40%.  And while some of that was the C's defense, plenty of it… and all the fouls they were committing early on… falls squarely on them.  This blowout was definitely a combination of good play by the C's, and horrid play by the Jazz.
