The C's stormed out to a huge first quarter lead but they pissed that away and spent the next next two-and-a-half quarters in a dog-fight with the Nets. Then the fourth quarter came along. The C's promptly demolished the Nets 24-10 in the quarter and won this thing 94-80.
Paul Pierce went off in the first quarter as if he was trying to shut up those who said he should be rested. He finished with 31 points on 10-18 shooting. KG had a double-double with 14 and 10.
This was expectedly un-pretty. The C's shot 43% NJ shot just under 39%.
Not going to go much more into it. The C's go into the break as one of the three 40-win teams in the league. With all this team has faced, that's really damn good.
Meanwhile, I absolutely MUST call out noted Lakers troll "PPSucks" who yesterday left a comment saying "you scrubs lost to the Cavs".
Well.. tonight the Lakers lost to the Cavs. Suck on that, trolls.
