Day one of practice is in the books in scenic Newport, Rhode Island. One big note that came out of yesterday was Jared Sullinger saying he’s “not even close” to being ready. Today, he softened that blow.

Other notes from Day 1: Kris Humphries impressed Brad Stevens. So did Vitor Favorani Avery Bradley ran the point all day Rajon Rondo participated in the morning session, which was mostly drills, no contact, and he didn’t really try much lateral movement. Also… this was said:
