First of all, let me start by saying I was wrong.
I honestly believed that Beanie Wells status was a head-fake, and it wasn’t. There’s not much more I can say about that at this time, but I was wrong indeed.
As for everything else, what the hell can you say about it? I’ve just begun to assess the damage and I’ll have a full detailed report later, but for right now….what are the positives? Are there any?
I found two positives.
James Laurinaitis and Terrelle Pryor. Little Animal was a beast on defense, showing strength in his tackles that I hadn’t seen from him in a while. That goal-line tackle, standing up the ball carrier at the 1, was a solid show of force. Meanwhile, when LeBron In Cleats was at QB, the team seemed to click. When Pryor was QB, even the RBs gained more yards. That is because with Pryor on the field, defenses must pay more attention to him, opening up holes for other Buckeyes.
More on it all later. I have a hangover to get rid of.
