Johnny Damon had himself one hell of a night, capping off the Tigers’ 7-5 comeback win with a walk off home run. Of course, your boy Billy Zane already knew that.
Damon also collected the 2500th hit of his career with a single in the bottom of the 3rd and drew a key walk in the 9th, setting up a game-tying moon shot HR from Miguel Cabrera.
Once again, the Tigers struggled to get the Orioles out. Baltimore had 17 hits on the game, 10 against Tigers starter Armando Galarraga. The Tigers had 13 hits, nearly half of which came in the final 3+ innings of the game.
