For years, I had convinced myself that I was there to see Henry Aaron’s final home run. So today, when they announced they had identified the location–and the pitcher–I had to do some more research. My memory was that I saw Aaron hit a homer for the Brewers…off Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. Turns out, according to this website, that that shot was #740. Still, glad I’m old enough to have seen Hammerin’ Hank hit one out in Milwaukee…and young enough to still remember it.
