The Red Sox have put Daniel Bard into the rotation for the start of the season and will keep Alfredo Aceves in the bullpen. The Red Sox rotation now is Lester, Beckett, Buchholz, Doubront and Bard.
Bard had a record of 2-2 with an ERA of 6.57 in 5 games this spring, opponents hit .228 off of him and he had a WHIP of 1.50.
