With the announcement of a tentative agreement between owners and players, the NBA lockout will be ending soon and Christmas Day will be a lot sweeter for NBA fans.
And as such, locked out players are starting to come back to to the U.S. and look to rejoin their respective teams once the lockout is officially over. Not to mention training camps are about to get underway.
Already San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker has called it quits with French squad ASVEL-Villeurbanne and Tiago Splitter will be playing his remaining games with Spanish club Valencia Basket before returning to San Antonio.
Now you can add Da’Sean Butler to the list.
According to Apollo.lv, Butler has left Latvian squad VEF Riga and has returned stateside to begin preparing for training camp.
Butler only played one game with Riga and saw two minutes on the court and grabbed one rebound in a win. It also marked the first time Butler returned to the court after recovering from his devastating knee injury.
