Pro Football Weekly has released its midseason ALL PRO awards for every position in both leagues, and Davin Joseph gets the nod for offensive right guard. The write up:
Joseph might be the best run blocker in the game, and the Bucs have not been shy going right behind him on most of their critical plays. He has earned the seven-year extension he signed in the offseason and has been one of the team’s bright spots. The other guard is Mike Lupati of the 49ers. Rounding out the offense is Aaron Rodgers, Fred Jackson and Adrian Peterson, Vonta Leach as Fullback, Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith, Jimmy Graham, with C Eric Woods, and LT Adnrew Whitworth of Cincinnati and Todd Herremans of the Eagles.
Joseph stands along with LT Donald Penn as the two best options for the Bucs at Pro Bowl, also Kicker Connor Barth and Punter Michael Koenen. All four of those players are playing at an elite level, which tells you where the Bucs are good at. Offensive Line and Special Teams. Its a good place to start if your the youngest team in the league.
