Day 8 morning practice notes

The hitting continued on the eighth day of training camp for the Oakland Raiders. Zach Miller redeemed himself after having drops yesterday, Bruce Gradkowski had a very good day, and the team really tackled.

• Zach Miller got the bulk of the looks in red zone drills and make the most of them. He had no drops and multiple touchdowns.

• The tackling session was sloppy from both sides.
• It appeared that Robert Gallery got hurt during the life tackle session, but he was in for the next drills.
• Tyvon Branch did a good job in coverage.
• Nick Miller had a couple of solid catches
• Tom Cable spent some time running an offensive line drill, and he got rather animated with his old group.
