You can see where this is going. It’s time for Blue Jackets fans to step up and show our boys in Union Blue, our city, and other teams what we’re all about in Columbus. Everyone is excited for hockey but let’s sweeten the pot just a little bit.
The Blue Jackets organization has launched #DefendNWA and you find avatars and headers for all your favorite social media HERE or HERE but let’s see if you really mean it.
Show up to FanFest this SUNDAY rockin’ that DefendNWA logo. We’re going to award a prize in two categories:
1) The most creative use of “DefendNWA”
2) The greatest number of “DefendNWA” ‘s involved
Find us by the FoxSports Ohio desk between 2-3 PM – every submission will be featured in photograph form on twitter.
Winners will be notified Monday, September 9th. We’re giving away a Blue Jackets team signed stick to one winner, and a couple of signed pucks to the other.
But wait…it gets BETTER.
The best way to Defend NWA of course is show up and cheer on the team. The Blue Jackets are providing single game tickets for pre-sale ONLY to Ohio residents starting September 6th at 10AM and going through September 10th at 9AM.
Show us that you took advantage of this pre-sale opportunity and whoever bought the most tickets* through the pre-sale will get something even a little more cool – trust us – you’re gonna want this prize.
*You can submit proof of purchase by posting a photo showing date of purchase, and total number for single-game CBJ tickets on twitter – just mention @TheUnionBlue – or in our FORUM. If you prefer to submit in private, please private message one of us through the forum.
