The Philadelphia Eagles just completed a blockbuster deal with the Philadelphia Eagles involving DeMarco Murray. This would be Murray’s third team in the last three seasons. It is believed that the Titans gave at least one draft pick and some compensation
In terms of how the Titans benefit from this deals seems quite obvious. Tennessee was 27th in terms of rushing last season with many of those yards coming from their quarterback Marcus Mariota. This would give them quite an explosive offense considering they have Dorial Green-Beckham, Delanie Walker, and Marcus Mariota as well a defense that was in the top half of the league last season. Tennessee also plays in the worst division in the league, if not professional sports.
This may be the push they have needed in order to get over the hump. As long as Demarco, who did have a rough season previously, stays healthy they can utilize him in a way that keeps Marcus Mariota from getting injured.
