Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson tweaked his hamstring while running a deep pattern during practice this afternoon. Afterward, he received attention by trainers. Sports talk radio treated it like a semi-major injury. In May, stuff like this does not register as a “concern.”
T Morgan Moses signed his rookie contract yesterday. All eight drafted rookies are signed. Love that rookie pay scale in the new CBA.
Rush Limbaugh is now using the Redskins name controversy to bash Progressives.

As for his suggestion to change the name Redskins to Potatoes, Kornheiser wrote that years ago. It was funnier when he said it. There are even Twitter avatars showing it.
A group of Native Americans wrote to every NFL player calling on them to push for a team name change, like that’s going to work.
@Redskins Prepare for the "Shame Campaign" complete w/hastag by coerced NFL players. Stay strong.

The Redskins’ fast response to a letter to the NFL signed by 50 Democratic Senators tells us two things.
- The Redskins are not going to cave on this. (UPDATE: but the may act stupidly in defense of their name.)
- They are more prepared to respond with better arguments when this stuff comes up better than they have at any time. Perhaps those outside p.r. consultants are having more of an effect than we think. (UPDATE: Or not.)
#RedskinsPride @SenatorReid enough of hating on @redskins name. Congress is dysfunctional and you're picking on a football team? #comeon
