Before you get angry let me explain.
There is talent on this team, right? But there are calls for a complete overhaul. Something to the effect of: keep the good guys but rebuild the team. There are few ideas of how to fix this, but starting anew could be an option. So… What would the Saints need? Draft picks. One perfect way to do that is to trade away Brees now. His contract could be friendly after restructuring, he is still good and while you are rebuilding it is a waste to have an elite QB on your team. The Saints are likely not making the playoffs soon anyway and by the time they make the playoffs again Brees will be geriatric.
