Did You See What You Wanted To See? – Minnesota edition

Jeff at The BBC

Ohio State playing traditional Ohio State football – Success!  All day long, the Buckeyes used both the short game and the long ball to drive down the field.  Had it not been for two bothced plays that ended good drives, this game could have been a 40+-point win.

8 different players with a reception – Nope, not today.  However, we are talking about a team that only tried five pass attempts in the entire second half.  As the lead expanded, the playbook shrunk.

Two players with 20+ carries – Fail, but for two very good reasons.  One, the injury to Brandon Saine that sent him to the bench for the rest of the game.  Two, the previously-mentioned expanding lead, which gave carries to a total of seven different players.

You, again – Again, thank you for coming to the live chat.  They’ve been a lot of fun, and I am really happy to see so many Buckeye fans come in to discuss the game.

Eric

A win –  I think we can call that a success.

More Hurt Coleman Punishment –  Success!  Dude’s a beast.  Every loose ball somehow finds Coleman’s hands.

Jim

1. Offense – 38 points.  509 yards.  27 first downs.  Success?  Yes.

2. Defense – 7 garbage points.  1-for-10 on third downs.  4 turnovers forced.  Success?  Yes.

No. False. Start. Penalties. – Dammit, dammit, dammit.

“Fun” TP – Watching him dive into the end zone as if he were slam-dunking the ball was exhilarating.  Its safe to say he was having fun!

Zoom – We got the running plays that Mali asked for…they just went to multiple players after Saine’s injury.

Return To Nastiness – Minnesota thought it couldn’t get any worse than the 20-0 loss to Penn State.  They were wrong.  Success!

Gopher Carnage License to kill gophers, granted.
