You just never know in the NFL. Phil B Wilson is reporting that Ryan Diem hurt his back, and that Tony Ugoh is back on the line.
Well, it’s uncertain how long Diem will be out, but Caldwell made it sound like this injury could linger. So I don’t expect to see him for a while, which means Ugoh will get another chance to prove himself in the short term.
I thought Diem was a bigger problem than Ugoh last year, but CJ was a mess at right tackle in 2007, so this doesn’t really solve anything other than to give Ugoh a chance to prove he belongs on the line.
