On Sunday night, after NLCS GM2 ended, the TBS post-game show ran a piece on the 30th anniversary of 1985 World Series GM6 (which will officially be next Monday, OCT 26th).
More specifically on ‘the call’.
This is the point where I’d normally embed the piece so everyone that missed it (i.e. pretty much everyone reading this), but TBS doesn’t appear to put clips of anything online.
So here’s (most of) the last 1/2 inning in question, instead. See how long you can make it.

At least ESPN’s T.J. Quinn is standing up for the beleaguered former ump. Sort of:
Now TBS doing entire profile of Don Denkinger mispronouncing his name. It's Den-KING-er, not Denk-in-ger as commonly called all these years.

In fairness to Mr. Denkinger, he has owned up to the blown call. Below is an interview he did with Keith Olbermann last year where he talks about the game and the aftermath.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals won’t be able to win the World Series against the Royals in 2015 to mark the anniversary properly.
