The Cupcake competition between Boston and NY is ON! Georgetown Cupcakes is hosting a competition and all the money raised goes to charity: Jason Varitek for the Red Sox and Bernie Williams for the Yankees.
The cupcake battle goes until this Sunday and you can either go to the Georgetown Cupcake Shop and get one…or a dozen..put in your hot little hand OR you can order them ONLINE and have them sent to anywhere in the country. Tek is playing for the Pitching In For Kids charity and 100% of all the profits from the Green Monster cupcakes goes to the charity.

Tek went to the Georgetown store in Boston this morning and was helping to sell cupcakes to fans. It was a blast. His wife mingled with the crowd and was giving away signed Tek balls as people were waiting to get inside. The Georgetown crew put Tek to work and had him packaging up and giving cupcakes out to fans. It was a sight to see.
As for the Green Monster cupcake…it is divine. It is a red velvet cupcake which is dyed green and then covered in green cream cheese frosting with a baseball with the #33 on it. Get them while you can!!!
