Today we do two Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2010 Lookbacks, as we are dealing with offensive linemen, which sadly do not carry any statistics along with them!
Demar Dotson was in the limelight at this time last year, when Donald Penn was holding out, Dotson was the Bucs leading candidate at Left Tackle at the time when Penn was going through his holdout. As Penn started and played all 16 games Dotson was stat-less in 2010.
Dotson was signed as an undrafted free agent from Southern Mississippi.
He will go into 2011 in competition for backup duties.
Next up is Andrew Economos, another lineman, but this guy has a very critical job- he is the long snapper for punts, and more importantly, Field Goals. When Connor Barth lines up for a 50+ yard FG, everything has to be perfect, including the snap. Economos started all 16 games last year and has been the Bucs long snapper since 2007. He came to the Bucs in 2006 and played in three games that year.
Andrew went undrafted in 2005 but was picked up by instate rival Jacksonville. When released, the Bucs grabbed him up in ’06. He replaced the immortal Dave Moore, now on Bucs radio with Gene Deckerhoff!
