Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been putting on a show in his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan over the past couple weeks.

In six appearances in Moneyball Pro-Am, Green averaged 29.8 points and 19 rebounds, leading Team Navy to a perfect 6-0 record (0-6 when he did not play) and league championship.

Green was unavailable in a number of Team Navy’s games due to being invited to Team USA minicamp as part of the Team USA Select Team.

While at camp in Las Vegas, Draymond hinted fans would have to wait until the NBA season to see some of his new moves.

“I’ve been trying to get my threes more consistent, working on a few other things, but I guess we’ll figure that out when the season starts, right?” Green said coyly in an exclusive interview with LetsGoWarriors.com.

Turns out fans may not have to wait that long.

Video of his 28-point, 22-rebound Pro-Am performance has recently hit YouTube, and the former Michigan State star has shown a number of skills that haven’t made their way to the NBA hardwood, yet.

Green’s showcase at the Pro-Am might be a glimpse of what Warriors fans might see from him with greater use as a “Stretch-Four”.

Improved ball-handling and a surprising step-back game suggests that the Warriors haven’t yet gotten everything they can out of the young forward, who’s 3rd-year NBA contract was recently fully guaranteed.

While the talent level in a Pro-Am is somewhat watered down, there a plenty of current and former college stars taking the court.

Draymond’s stat lines have also included a 40-point, 29-rebound performance in a win over Team Green and current Michigan State University player Denzel Valentine, as well as a 39-and-18 game in a win over Team Orange and Spartan signee Marvin Clark — joining another Warrior making a “splash” in summer pro-am leagues.
