Stephen Drew was activated from the DL today after missing a month with a concussion and related effects after being hit in the helmet with a pitch. Drew homered in his last AB in a rehab game.
To make room for Drew, the Red Sox have optioned Jose Iglesias to Pawtucket. Iggy went 9-20 and flashed some leather while starting in place of Drew. The pressure is now on Drew to put up some decent number or he will be run out of town like many who have help the SS position in Boston before him.
