DubNation’s Funny Reactions To Warriors’ Klay Thompson’s 37-Point Performance

NASCAR ESPN

After Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson racked up 37 points in the third quarter of Friday night’s blowout win over the Sacramento Kings at #Roaracle, #DubNation took to social media to celebrate — and as we’ve been accustomed to seeing — have an enormous amount of fun in the process.

But first, this excellent photo capture by @OracleArena: “All of the possible reactions you could have had from last nights game, shown on everyone’s face.”

In the locker room after the game, Draymond Green was asked if Klay’s performance was like playing a video game. “Them video games are real now though. That wasn’t real!” Green replied.

Yes, it brought back memories of a character on NBA Jam making three shots in a row and shooting fireballs. No doubt, Thompson was “on fire”. And one Warriors fan paid him the best possible tribute of being on fire:

Even head coach Steve Kerr, who had played with Michael Jordan during MJ’s second Chicago Bulls run at three straight titles, said, “I’ve never seen Michael do that.”

DubNation was on the Kerr’s same wavelength:

Kerr wasn’t there for Jordan’s first three-peat, but MJ did have an historic 35-point performance in Game 1 of the 1992 NBA Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, when he hit six three-pointers and gave us “The Shrug”. Of course, DubNation remembers that as well:

David Lee gave this reaction during the game:

So naturally, DubNation had to take that a step further:

Warriors fans even referenced Larry Bird:
