Duncan back in Black…and Gold

DuncanSan Antonio Spurs forward Tim Duncan is back in Winstom-Salem, where he played for Wake Forest for four years prior to being drafted by the Spurs in the 1997 NBA Draft.

Duncan is there this weekend to play in the Black and Gold season kick-off at Reynolds Gym alongside other former Demon Deacons Chris Paul and Josh Howard.

According to a report from WXII12.com, the game, which is free to the public, will tip off tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Duncan has kept busy during the lockout working out with Tony Parker and Spurs rookies Kawhi Leonard and Cory Joseph and he hosted Nene and Roy Hibbert among other NBA players in town yesterday.

Tomorrow’s game should be some indication of the shape Duncan is, but I feel for one of the current Wake Forest bigs who has to defend the greatest power forward in NBA history.
