With 1,436,584 votes, Tim Duncan has been named a starter for the 2007 Western Conference All-Star game in Las Vegas.
Duncan edged the Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony and Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki for the starting spot. Also named as starters for the Western Conference were Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett and Yao Ming.
This season, Duncan is averaging 20.2 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. This All-Star appearance will be Tim’s 10th in his 10-year career.
Dwyane Wade, Gilbert Arenas, Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Shaquille O’Neal will start for the Eastern Conference.
