Earlier this week I wrote a post on how Adam Dunn would fit in well in Boston. Now that he has signed a 4-year $56 million deal with the White Sox, the options for a power hitting corner infielder have diminished. Scott Boras knows he is in the driver’s seat with Adrian Beltre when negotiating with the Red Sox because after Beltre the options drop off quickly to players like Pedro Feliz. Of course the team could always trade for Adrian Gonzalez. (fire up the rumor mill again!) The Sox better get busy or they run the risk of having Jed Lowrie at the hot corner when the season starts.
