This game wasn’t the prettiest and wasn’t the cleanest, but the Philadelphia Eagles came out on top vs the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

This game was interesting in the fact that the Eagles were coming into this game on their last lifeline. If they didn’t win this game, then the season was over for good. But this team found life behind a defense that got turnovers, got pressure, and were laying down hits. And we cannot forget about the offense, which put up 17 points without the likes of QB Michael Vick and WR Jeremy Maclin.

Backup QB Vince Young did what any backup QB should do and that is to manage the game. Young was 23 for 36 with 258 passing yards, 2 TDs, and 3 ints. Young started off very shaky in the first half and under threw some passes to WR Desean Jackson. But he got his act together and led the Eagles to an 18 play game winning drive that culminated in a Riley Cooper TD. This team shouldn’t be excited over this win because knocking on their door is The New England Patriots this upcoming Sunday.
