While the Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed their early bye week this past week, one Eagle found himself in trouble for the second time in months.
According to a report from TMZ Sports, Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested in Miami Sunday on a weapons charge. Bradham has since been released after posting bond.
This is not the first time Bradham has found trouble since coming to Philadelphia. In July, the five-year vet was arrested in Miami for allegedly assaulting a hotel worker. The incident is still pending, with a hearing set for this week.
While the report states there was no specific criminal incident that led to his arrest yesterday, his current bond status following his July arrest put a wrinkle in yesterday’s situation.
Bradham has been a key piece in the Eagles resurging defense this season with 10 tackles and an interception through the first three games.
The team has stated that they are currently aware of Bradham’s situation, and are in communication with both Bradham and the authorities.
