The Eagles make another signing today as they add former Tennessee Titans cornerback Chris Hawkins. Last August, Hawkins was cut by the Titans but in 2011 played in nine games and actually made some plays.
On special teams, Hawkins made eight tackles and on defense he made 11 tackles. He is another player that could help the Eagles on special teams next season. Chris Hawkins is now 26 years old and at LSU was a playmaker. With the Tigers, he had five interceptions and 19 pass breakups in 51 games played.
Before joining the Titans practice squad in 2010, he was cut by the Jaguars and Ravens. It seems like the Eagles so far this off-season are really trying to add defensive players to revamp this defense as we still do not know who is going to be the new head coach and defensive coordinator.
