Bryce Brown finds himself at 15 on the list for a few reasons. First off, if guaranteed more reps, Bryce would be much higher. He finds himself behind LeSean McCoy on the depth chart, which clearly will not be altered anytime soon. Although he will not be starting next season for the Philadelphia Eagles, Brown will find himself in a role that best fits him, and the team.
Brown will serve as the teams “change of pace” back, as well as a great compliment back to Shady. He is certainly not ready to take the reins of any backfield, which his why he is in a great position. There is much to learn from McCoy, and Brown will find that out first hand. Furthermore, we all know how much more Coach Kelly is going to run the ball as opposed to Andy Reid, which means Brown will get his fair share of carries.
The main reason that Bryce Brown is number 15 on the list is his potential. Last season when LeSean McCoy went down with an injury Brown filled in, and shined. Brown came out of no where, and shocked the fans of Philadelphia. Although he was highly regarded coming out of high school, no one saw him making as big as impact as he did last year. On the year, Brown recorded 564 yards to go along with 4 touchdowns. If the Eagles decide to run the ball as much as we expect them to, look for Brown to top these numbers and be a solid contributor, which is why he is number 15 on the list.
