DeSean Jackson finds himself at number two on the countdown. Jackson has all the talent in the world, but has been highly criticized during his NFL career. He has been criticized for things such as dodging hits, not running in the middle of the field, and most notably, being a punk. However, despite all of the negativity, this could be the year that DeSean Jackson finally puts all of his talent together and becomes a real receiving threat.

With Chip Kelly coming to town, DeSeason Jackson’s stock quickly rose. He instantly becomes a more dangerous player, but we still don’t know how he will exactly be used. Most Eagles fans are expecting to see Jackson all over the field, and are hoping to maybe even see him get some carries or run the wildcat. To make things even better, Kelly has already announced that Jackson will be returning punts next season. There is a lot of potential here for Jackson, and with the switch at head coach makes him become that much better.

Last season, with missing 5 games, Jackson totaled 700 receiving yards and just two touchdowns. Jackson simply wasn’t that electric player that fans were used to seeing, but he will look to put last year behind him. If he can revert to his 2009 form where he posted 1156 yards and 9 touchdowns then fans will quickly fall back in love with the young receiver.

DeSean Jackson is due for a huge season after putting up disappointing numbers lately. Look for Chip Kelly to use Jackson’s speed and ability to get open often next year, and look for him to also put up ridiculous numbers in terms of total yards. With Kelly’s high speed offense, DeSean Jackson should be one of the most fun Philadelphia Eagles to watch next season.
