Jason Peters is number four on the countdown. After missing all of last year with a torn Achilles tendon, he is set to return to the Philadelphia Eagles starting lineup. Peters is one of the best offensive lineman in the game, and he immediately boosts the teams chances of being better next season. Clearly he was missed last year as the team allowed 48 sacks.
Getting Jason Peters back is huge because he is such a major impact. His size, and ability to block are only a few reasons why he is so dominant. Since acquiring Peters back in 2009, he has been the Eagles best lineman. There are many questions surrounding Jason Peters since he is coming off of such a serious injury. It is completely understanding from a fans point of view to question Peters since he suffered multiple set backs. He has been rehabbing for months, and appears to be healthy and ready to contribute right away.
Jason Peters may be coming off of a serious injury, but he is still a stud. Fans will get to see him return to action this Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is slated to play three quarters in the game, as he looks to get back in game shape. If Peters can stay healthy, this Eagles line can be one of the best in the NFL this upcoming season. Look for Jason Peters to regain his form as a top offensive lineman in the league, and be a major contributor for the Birds this season.
