On Monday, the Eagles announced two major trades to kick off the new league-year madness. First it was announced that the Eagles would trade linebacker Kiko Alonso and cornerback Byron Maxwell to the Miami Dolphins. Despite a brief hiccup, the trade is thought to be on its way to being done.
Later that night, the Eagles announced plans to trade running back DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans.
Now, the official details of the trades are known:
Trade with Miami:
PHI gets: 8th overall pick
MIA gets: LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, 13th overall pick
Trade with Tennessee:
PHI gets: 4th round pick (2nd)
TEN gets: RB DeMarco Murray, 4th round pick (15th)
