WWE star Paige was relieved of her duties as Smackdown Live General Manager when the company announced its most recent creative “shake up”, but the former Divas Champion is keeping herself busy doing promotional work for her upcoming biopic Fighting With My Family.

The movie, which marks the feature film directorial debut of Stephen Merchant, chronicles the life of Paige and her famous British wrestling family. The movie stars actress Florence Pugh as Paige, and features a supporting cast of Vince Vaughn, The Rock, Lena Headey and more.

After its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, Fighting With My Family is generating mostly positive early reviews, with The Wrap praising the movie and noting “with so few sports movies about women winning in a man’s arena, this charming true tale has all the right moves.”

The entire cast of the movie, including Paige, made panel appearances at Sundance, and the video below features Paige, along with actors Nick Frost and Vince Vaughn revealing their favorite wrestling moves.

The Hollywood Reporter offered a less favorable review of the movie, writing, “a couple of scenes with The Rock don’t energize a run-of-the-mill sports story.” THR adds, “though Paige does conquer her demons, her entry into the pro arena is underwhelming. The pic ends on the one and only chance she gets to tell the world who she truly is. There wasn’t enough struggle to get here to justify any sense of triumph.”

Variety and IndieWire both offered fairly positive reviews for the movie, with IndieWire grading the film a B-, and Variety adding, “Fighting With My Family may not be an Oscar contender but it has enough wit, heart, energy and good cheer to make it a fun watch even for non-wrestling fans.”

The movie currently has a Rotten Tomatoes critics score of 79%, which is considered fresh, but the site has yet to aggregate an audience score. Fighting With My Family opens in United States theaters on February 14th, and opens in The UK on February 27th.
