There are few things in life I enjoy more than a nice taco. If tacos were drugs then I would be the Charlie Sheen of taco consumption. So when I got word that Fuzzy’s Tacos will be holding a promotion this Saturday to help benefit Premier Boxing Club, well, let’s just say I started to get the shakes.
Look, I don’t need to highlight the good deeds and commendable job Fort Worth’s Premier Boxing Club has done for the sport of amateur boxing here in North Texas. Hell, there is a reason why thy gym is a two-time winner of our annual “Gym of the Year” award. The coaches and boxers of Premier BC are some of the most humble and dedicated in the sport and their innovative approach to marketing amateur boxing has benefited the local amateur scene here in North Texas in immeasurable ways.
Saturday evening, the Fort Worth location of Fuzzy Tacos (2719 Race St. Fort Worth, TX 76111) will hold a special promotion from 4:30 PM – 10 PM. Mention Premier Boxing Club and Fuzzy’s will donate a percentage of the sale to raise funds for the club. This is a great gesture from a local sponsor that is helping our beloved amateur scene grow. Do yourself a favor, head on out to Fuzzy’s tomorrow night, eat some great tacos, help a great club, and then get your ass out to the Fort Worth Convention Center to take in some pro boxing. Sounds like a plan to me.
