McKinney’s Edwin Figueroa emerged victorious in a foul-filled battle with Alex Caceres on the undercard of UFC 143. The Mohler/Saekson trained fighter was making his third appearance in the Octagon and in Caceres was no walk in the park. Caceres repeatedly racked Figueroa in the cup with low kicks to the point that referee Herb Dean took two points from Caceres in the second round. This move would be pivotal as Figueroa got the split decision with scored of 28-27, 28-27, and 27-28.
