While five former UConn Huskies football players were cut from their respective teams, there are some that will still be playing in the NFL on Sundays.
Here is the list of eight former Huskies in the NFL for the 2010 season:
- Deon Anderson, Dallas Cowboys
- Will Beatty – New York Giants
- Tyvon Branch – Oakland Raiders
- Donald Brown – Indianapolis Colts
- Darius Butler – New England Patriots
- Marcus Easley – Buffalo Bills (on injured reserve, won’t play in 2010)
- Robert McClain – Carolina Panthers
- Dan Orlovsky, Houston Texans
