I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers
are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose
of 'enemy chatter' from Memphis.
For tonight, Ray Allen, I don't like you. Surely a nice guy, an amazing shooter, but tonight, I just can't like you very much.
Matthew Hoe – Three Shades of Blue
“I think we could have won that game. That just goes to show how close
we are. I think it starts to hurt more as you get better as a team.
When you miss a couple of threes that don’t go down and the shots that
I put down, you miss those, and end up losing the game. No matter who
you’re playing, it makes it hurt even more.”

Maybe it's my Midwestern sensibilities, but if there's one thing I hate
more than the city of Boston, it's their sports teams. Don't care about
the enemy. I have nothing to say terrible about the Celtics that I
haven't already said a million times about Dancing With the Stars —
they're all fake, way past their prime, and their knees will be shot by
the end of the year anyhow.

Awww… that last line tugs at my heart.
