Sit back, relax, and enjoy the fact the Celtics finally have a Sunday afternoon off. Also, enjoy Glen Davis demoralizing Darko Milicic and Bill Walker flying past Darrell Arthur for the slam.
While we're at it, why not enjoy the Garnett Effect… even if it involves him slamming the ball and swearing as he was taken out of last night's game
“I didn’t want to come out,” Garnett said with a smile. “But Doc (Rivers, the C’s coach) and I have a dialogue going, and I’m very open with him. What’s best for me is coming along slowly, though everything seems to be coming along.”
What I didn't enjoy, however, was Ray Allen clutching his wrist after doing something to it late in the second quarter. He hurt it again when Marc Gasol fouled him hard in the third quarter. There's no update on it today, but I find it hard to believe that there isn't something wrong with that.
And one little aside about the Gasol foul on Ray. If what Big Baby and Trevor Ariza did were initially called flagrant 2 fouls, then why was it a normal foul when Ray got hit on the head and sent to the floor last night? Last night's play was LESS of a play on the ball than the other two plays, it involved contact to the head and a player going to the floor. I'm really not going to get up in arms about this, I'm just saying the lack of consistency is kind of glaring here.
