Star Trek Into Darkness
Growing up with a Trekkie has always made me partial to the Star Trek franchise. But the new Star Trek series has been great so far and I can’t WAIT to see this movie. Khan is a great advisory and Benedict plays him to a ‘T’, and Kirk is up to his old tricks. On a side note because it’s hard to tell from the trailers, I do hope Uhura has a larger role.
Monsters University
Monsters Inc was one of Pixar’s best movies. It was completely original, and was cast really well. Sully is my favorite, and it looks like he is up to a lot of college antics. It’s been several years since the first Monsters came out, but I think the original movie’s audience will be back in full force.
World War Z
I have not read this book, but have heard it’s great. I always love me a good Brad Pitt movie and have been enjoying the Zombie craze; I think this movie will shine as a great apocalyptic story. The only concerning sign is the multiple reshoots that this movie has been through.
The Heat
Finally I bring you comic genius: Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. Put your minds away and laugh your ass off. You deserve it!
