Entertainment Roundup: Is everything on TV exciting?

Spring is here and we’re heading straight into May sweeps and season finales. There’s lots happening and plenty of cliffhangers to keep you on your toes all summer.

Must-Watch Finales
I read entertainment news from many different media outlets. Sometimes I stop by TVGuide.com to see their point-of-view and the schedule for the night. (Yes, I’m old-fashioned and don’t have digital TV scheduling.) Anyways, they posted a hilarious article called Must-Watch Finales. At first, the article sounds intriguing. But when you open it, you realize they chose 39 must-watch finales. I couldn’t stop laughing. Didn’t want to leave anyone out? Or hurt anyone’s feelings?

Are Fridays still TV’s cemetery?
Historically, Friday is where networks send shows that they aren’t ready to kill but have horrible ratings. They think it’s better PR than just axing everything immediately. Not anymore! I was thrilled to see that Grimm, one of my favs, survived the Friday night curse and is good enough to go to Tuesdays! The Grimm fans are loyal, because it’s a great show that develops quickly. I’ve heard of other great shows that people are staying home to watch on Fridays also, like Shark Tank, Blue Bloods, Supernatural. TV is taking a great turn. great shows every night of the week. Next up… Saturdays!
